At 1101 King Street, our team delivered a collection of custom metal and wood pieces that bring warmth, texture, and modern craftsmanship to the building’s shared spaces. Working closely with J Suss Industries Inc, we fabricated a series of elements that use dark-patina steel and live-edge oak to create a consistent visual language throughout the project.
In the lobby, we built live-edge oak shelving supported by 4-inch steel tube brackets, pairing organic wood textures with clean structural lines. The leasing and co-working areas feature our steel cone-base tables and a striking steel pole screen with custom movable wood elements—designed to provide both form and function while maintaining durability in high-use environments.
The co-working zone also includes a 10-foot live-edge communal table, crafted to highlight the natural slab while integrating seamlessly with custom hardware and on-site conditions. Additional pieces, such as the round conference table, TV support shelf, and fluted steel communal table, complete the project with a cohesive mix of sculptural metalwork and refined finishes.
Across all spaces, our focus was on precise engineering, clean detailing, and materials that bring depth and character to each room. The result is a fully custom package that elevates the building’s interior through thoughtful craftsmanship and durable, built-for-use design.
