For Arepa Zone at The Aster, we fabricated and installed a custom bronze bar system that pairs warm metal finishes with clean, minimal detailing. Our scope focused on two key elements: a continuous brushed bronze foot rail and a bronze-framed bar shelf assembly designed to integrate seamlessly with the surrounding millwork and lighting.
At the bar face, we built a 1½” round bronze foot rail in a brushed finish, supported by a series of low-profile floor-mounted brackets. Every joint, bend, and fitting is aligned so the rail reads as a single, uninterrupted line—solid underfoot but visually light. The finish was chosen to bring a soft, warm glow to the base of the bar and complement the surrounding wood tones.
Above, we created a 1″ square bronze tube shelving structure. The frame is engineered to receive ¾” white oak shelves , so the final look layers natural wood with precise metal framing. Behind the scenes, welded bar stock and angle supports do the heavy lifting structurally, while remaining mostly hidden once the shelves are stocked. The result is a clean, open display for bottles and glassware that feels both refined and durable enough for daily service.
This project highlights what we do best: translating design intent into high-performing custom metalwork—from finish selection and connection details to installation in a live hospitality environment.
